M.Ed

LL.M
Average 50% marks for general candidates. But for the reserved category, it is 45%.

Ph.D.
Candidates must have 55% on their master’s degree.
Admissions Criteria
Firstly, for B.E. or B.Arch. candidates must qualify for KCET.
Secondly, for B.A., B. Com, BSc., B.Ed., B.Lib.I.Sc, MA, M.Sc., and / M.Lib.I.Sc the criteria is merit based on the previous exam.
Thirdly, candidates must pass GATE or PGCET for MBA, M.Arch, or M.E.
Fourthly, the Ph.D. application candidates must clear NET/GATE/ UGC NET/JRP/ SLET.
Lastly, for the LL.M, the university holds an admission test and counseling.
Bangalore University Scholarships
They offer four main scholarships to the students. Which are:
Government of India Post-metric Scholarship
This scholarship is only available for students who are from S.C. or S.T. categories. However, they must be from Karnataka.
Furthermore, to be qualified for the scholarship, the family’s annual income has to be less than Rs. 2,50,000.
Minorities Scholarships
Minorities (that is, Buddhist, Christians, Sikhs, Muslim, Jains, and Anglo-Indians) whose family income is less than Rs. 44,500 will be eligible for fee reimbursement or Encouragement Fund.
Also, Minorities Welfare Department manages this scholarship process.
Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship
University Grants Commission (UGC) manages this scholarship. Furthermore, only single child female candidates can apply for this scholarship.

Subject Scholarship
This is for the students of each department who has scored the highest marks in their last exam.

Bengaluru North University (BNU)
It is situated at Tamaka near NH 75. Also, the university is relatively new and was established in 2017.
Moreover, University Grants Commission (UGC) recognized it, and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) gave it a grade ‘C.’
However, only P.G. courses are offered in this university. The courses are in arts, commerce, social work and library, information science, education, and science.
Admissions Criteria
For admission to any G.C. course, the candidates have to have 40% on average. And 50% in the particular subject.
Scholarship
They do not have any institutional or private scholarships. However, with an e-Pass, the Government of Karnataka does offer some scholarships to the candidates.
